Backpackers at 115 Dolphin Street Gutted by Fire

Early in the morning of 19th August, 2019 a fire broke out in the apartment building at 115 Dophin Street, Coogee, which was being used as short-stay accommodation, "backpackers". The flames engulfed the building and required seven fire engine and their crews to extinguish the blaze. The fire serverley damaged the building and forced its evacuation. Residents had to find alternative accommodation.
